Bid Coordinator

Full Time / Permanent

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic & motivated Bid Coordinator. Wicksteed Playgrounds are the UK’s leading manufacturer and supplier of play and Leisure equipment & have been designing; manufacturing; installing; landscaping and maintaining playgrounds since 1918. OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE should • Have experience of bid writing preferred • Have excellent written and presentation skills • Have the ability to work under pressure to ensure deadlines are met • Have project co-ordination skills • Have excellent attention to detail • Be able to problem solve • Have teamwork and collaboration skills • Have excellent communication skills • Numerate YOUR MAIN DUTIES WILL INCLUDE • Coordinate the preparation and submission of proposals and bids to meet client specifications and deadlines • Liaise with various departments to gather accurate information and documents for bid preparation • Produce high quality written and visual tender submissions • Compile quotations for tender submissions and other projects including sourcing pricing • Respond to PQQS • Ensure the tender specification/brief has been adhered to, making suggestions and offering cost effective    solutions • Liaise with other departments to gather information for submissions and bid library • Self and peer review of submissions • Any other duties as directed by a Supervisor, Manager or Director WHAT WE OFFER Attractive salary Pension scheme Access to offers and services available through HR software and our lead trade body. Sales Advisor

Full Time / Permanent

Location - Edinburgh - Remote If you are looking for a challenging administrative position that will use your organisational and communication skills to their full potential, submit your C.V for this available position. We are looking for a conscientious, outgoing and hardworking individual who can work well under pressure. We require oral and written communications to be of a high standard. We offer a large and friendly working environment with opportunities to progress in the future within the company, full training is always given. Hours are 8:30am till 5pm with 1 hour lunch unpaid. Here are some of the duties you will be responsible for: Dealing with incoming enquiries via phone and email. Administrative support to our Scotland external Area Sales Manager and Contracts Manager. Completing quotations with managed stats Processing orders. To liaise with other departments in order to satisfactorily handle enquiries. To enter and action sales leads and opportunities proactively and progress where necessary. To take responsibility for keeping accurate and up to date customer database records. Attend site visits where required.
