Sales Office Administrator

Full Time / Permanent

If you are looking for a challenging administrative position that will use your organisational and communication skills to their full potential, submit your C.V for this available position. We are looking for a conscientious, outgoing and hardworking individual who can work well under pressure. We require oral and written communications to be of a high standard. We offer a large and friendly working environment with opportunities to progress in the future within the company, full training is always given. Hours are 8:30am till 5pm with 1 hour lunch unpaid. Here are some of the duties you will be responsible for: Dealing with incoming enquiries via phone and email. Administrative support to our external Area Sales Managers. Completing quotations. Processing orders. To liaise with other departments in order to satisfactorily handle enquiries. To enter and action sales leads and opportunities proactively and progress where necessary. To take responsibility for keeping accurate and up to date customer database records. Area Sales Manager – Scotland

Full Time / Permanent

We have a fantastic and rarely available opportunity for a self-motivated and target driven sales professional to develop and build upon the strong business base we have in the area. Reporting to the National Sales Manager and as part of a UK wide team, the successful candidate will: Build close relationships with existing clients particularly Local Authorities. Be actively involved in the strategy for your Tender and Quotation submissions Organise and plan an ambitious diary, ensuring sales targets are consistently met. Follow up on sales opportunities & marketing initiatives introducing new clients, in a timely manner, to Wicksteed. Survey client sites, producing costings and design briefs to meet customer needs Full training will be given in all aspects of the role and will be supported by a backup team second to none within the industry. The ideal candidate will be customer focused, numerate, IT literate with good organisational skills and able to demonstrate a proven sales background. The role with Wicksteed is not a ‘number of calls per day’ situation. It is about developing working relationships with key customers and stakeholders and responding quickly. Wicksteed offers a competitive salary package including company car, excellent pension scheme and lucrative bonus potential. We are seeking individuals who are not content with a basic salary. Contracts Manager – Scotland

Full Time / Permanent

Wicksteed Leisure Limited are market-leading designers and manufacturers of children’s playgrounds, outdoor gyms and multi-use games areas manufacturing in the UK since 1918. We have a fantastic and rarely available opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager to join the team to oversee projects from sales handover to site completion. Reporting to the Managing Director and as part of a UK wide team, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing projects from receipt of order to completion of project and will include: Identifying and vetting new sub-contractors to join the team. Appointing and supervising sub-contractors to install the kit and all necessary groundworks. Issuing all the necessary paperwork to the contractors prior to commencing work on site including preparing RAMS. Communicating with customers by telephone, email and both virtual and in-person meetings. Ensuring that the installation conforms to current regulations i.e. BS EN Standards and is in accordance with Wicksteed Leisure Limited specifications. Assisting Area Sales Managers in executing site surveys and setting out of sites in accordance with specific drawings or customer requirements. Ensuring that the contract is completed on time and within budget. Nights away from home will be required as necessary. Essential Skills/experience: Previous experience of contracts management or project management within a constructions or installations environment, preferably within the playground industry. A knowledge of construction practices (levels, drainage, landscaping would be an advantage) and familiarity with industry health and safety practices. Good negotiator (able to negotiate with contractors, suppliers for the best price for the work required). Customer focused, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times. Computer literate including Word, Excel and Outlook. Full UK driving licence. Ability to manage client’s expectations. Willingness to undertake any training that may be required.
