Slides and Cable Rides

Slides and cableways have always been a favourite pastime for children of all ages, and slides are included in many of Wicksteed's multi-play playground systems. This section is all about standalone slide items that give children that sense of rapid descent they love to experience - we offer slides for early years children with short, gentle descents. We have embankment slides for schools and parks with rolling green hills to take advantage of, with wavy descents. We even have an extra wide slide that can fit up to three small children side-by-side. And of course, we have classic long slides for the big kids seeking even bigger thrills. Alongside our slides we also have our cable ride zip wire products, which is an exhilarating experience for the most daring of teenagers. In our cableway offering we have classic zip lines with button seats; our cable ride frames are available in either timber or steel to match any colour scheme you already have in your playground area. Children’s safety is Wicksteed’s first priority and our playground equipment is tested to the appropriate British and European Safety Standards.
