Wicksteed SALTEX 2006 Prize Draw Winner sees his prize installed:
Wicksteed SALTEX 2006 Prize Draw Winner sees his prize installed - Ian White of the London Borough of Croydon was a winner of Wicksteed's SALTEX draw last year and won a Wildcats Goal for Bourne Park, Godstone. This is the result!
Parks Technical & Development Officer for the London Borough of Croydon, Ian White, was lucky enough to win a Wildcats Goal Module in Wicksteed’s Prize Draw which took place at the major trade show, SALTEX 2006.
Despite the inclement weather, spirits were high in Bourne Park, Godstone, Surrey, as the Wildcats Goal Module was installed in the park. During the official opening, Cabinet Member for Culture & Sport, Councillor Steve Hollands, and children from Kenley Primary school happily cheered this addition to their park facility. A brilliantly versatile product, it can be used for all sorts of ball games and is bound to keep children on their toes as they all practice their goal shooting techniques.
The London Borough of Croydon were especially happy, as it was supplied free of charge by Wicksteed, following the Council’s winning entry in the prize draw at SALTEX 2006. There will be more lucky winners drawn at this year’s 3-day event, which is staged annually in September at Windsor Racecourse, when Wicksteed’s guests will have another daily chance of winning a substantial item of play equipment for their council, school or charity.
