LGN AWARDS - Wicksteed Playscapes can proudly announce their success in the Local Government News Street Design Awards with 2 special awards in the Children's Play category.
Independently judged by a diverse panel of experts including representatives from Play England, the National Children's Bureau and the kids themselves, Wicksteed received the awards for their sensitive and creative refurbishments of Connaught Park Play Area in Dover and the revitalised Romsey Recreation Playscape in Cambridge.
Established in 1986, the presitigious LGN Street Design Awards aims to reward innovation and good practice in urban street design schemes undertaken by, or on behalf of, local authorities. Six different councils across the UK submitted innovative and exciting play schemes designed and installed by Wicksteed Playscapes and two of those were chosen as winners!
These significant awards serve to further enhance Wicksteed's leading position in the world of landscape-led play environments.
