SALTEX 2010:
SALTEX 2010 - Another really successful show at SALTEX this year found the Wicksteed Playscapes' team on exceptional form. The award-winning Northamptonshire-based company enhanced the prestigious event with a most impressive stand, filled with a myriad of intriguing play pieces, set in an undulating and verdant environment specially created by the design and landscaping team.
With natural elements still very evident - from the hand-sculpted, bespoke Totem Poles, to the timber-based products and meandering pathways - the landscape-led stand also displayed funky, steel-based units from the very popular ReAction range. The brand new interchangeable roundabouts, which are unique in their duel axis bearing mechanism - also proved to be immensely popular with visitors.
The awe-inspiring Forest range was represented by one of the quirky, adventurous units and the beautifully crafted, multi-faceted timber Tree House towered over the famous racecourse from its position on the stand.
Hundreds of sales leads were taken over the 3-day period during which existing and potential new customers were given the chance to really have a good look at the diverse collection of Wicksteed products on show and talk to the team.
