A colourful Crown graphic embedded in the Wet Pour surfacing proclaiming this a Golden Jubilee Park, provides a right royal centrepiece for the people of Enfield.
Wicksteed were commissioned to transform this play area in Elsinge Road into a wonderful new playground and "since the park's official opening it has been absolutely packed2 - according to Mike Vassiliou of the London Borough of Enfield.
Among the play equipment provided for all age ranges, many items are designed for "inclusive" play, including the Revolution Roundabout - with designated wheelchair station, a Pendulum Swing - with Tyre Seat enabling youngsters to enjoy swinging together as a group and a special Tropica Barbados multi-play unit, designed with a double-width slide, enabling children to slide down with helpers if required. Installed alongside the brand new playground is a great facility for teenagers a Wildcats Premier Ballcourt, excellent for many sports including basketball, football, hockey and netball.
