Contract Description
The project consisted of 5 natural play areas, to include landscaping and planting, as well as prescribed play equipment. Site addresses are Pecks Fields, Pulkey Wood, Terrington St John, CoronatioN Wood and Centre Point, Fairstead.

"The tender was very specific in following the new natural play guidelines as encouraged through central government whilst still providing a balance with equipment across the sites. Of the eight submissions received through tender Wicksteed had followed the brief the closest and shown a high level of thought in the submissions. The areas designs all involved creating natural play sites, to include landscaping and planting, a couple of which were going into light wooded areas and therefore needed to work with the sites. Wicksteed provided clever designs that integrated the equipment into the areas and enhanced the natural feel of the sites through planting. Planting was of a high quality and fully maintainable in the future."
