Learning Curves - new schools brochure from Wicksteed - Wicksteed Leisure announce the publication of a brand new brochure specifically compiled for the education market.

Wicksteed recognise that schools have priorities and requirements distinct from those of public playground providers and the private sector. That is why they have put a lot of thought into the presentation of a selection of play and sports equipment ideal for the education environment.

Multi-Play & Mobiles
The collection for the school year 2003/4 includes Tom Thumb, an early years multi-play adventure from the Nursery Rhymes range, Bermuda and Mustique from the exotic yet sturdy Tropica multi-Play System, all Kitemarked to BS EN 1176. Bouncing and rocking fun are provided by Spring Bounce-Abouts and Wicksteed Wobblers, covering age ranges from 2 to young teens.

Imaginative Play
The Imaginative Play section of the brochure, promoting co-operation and creativity, spans the traditional activities of Sand Play and a Play Cottage as well as Wicksteed's educational, fun Play Panels and brand new concepts such as 'Talking Flowers'.

Wicksteed have ensured that installations are attractive to children and young adults, whilst being robust, vandal resistant and requiring extremely low maintenance.

Complete service
The Schools selection, which Wicksteed have called 'Learning Curves' is rounded off with portable basketball units, the Youth Centre, a covered seating unit where young people gather to talk, Safety Surfacing options all tested in accordance with the requirements of BS EN 1177:1998 and comprehensive nationwide technical support, site design and a BS EN 1176 certified installation service.

Choice made easy
The colourful 20-page brochure is really a distillation of the vast range of play & sports equipment, safety surfacing and outdoor furniture contained in Wicksteed's main 164-page catalogue. Its aim, according to Wicksteed Leisure, is to make the choice of play & sports equipment for each age group easier, safer and more economical in terms of the lifetime costs of the equipment.
