Independent Safety Testing
Children's safety is Wicksteed's first priority and our products are independently tested to the appropriate British and European safety standards. The appropriate BSI and TUV test certificates are provided as downloadable documents on the product pages of this website. Take our advice - ask to see test certificates before you purchase.
Wicksteed's technical personnel have always been heavily involved in the formulation of the Safety Standards of the day and Wicksteed has representation on the European Standards Committee. We like to share our expertise with our customers and therefore we have co-written with Peter Heseltine of The Play Inspection Company An Essential Guide to BS EN 1176 and BS EN 1177 - Children's Playground Equipment and Surfacing.
