Fantastic fitness and funding facilities with Wicksteed! - Wicksteed's stand at SALTEX this year was a hive of activity with interactivity being the buzzword!

Wicksteed’s special Fitness Legacy Zone particularly drew in the crowds as did the computer-led game system SportACTIV – both of which require physical interaction!

The Fitness Legacy Zone is a brand new initiative from Wicksteed, who are ultra keen to encourage outdoor fitness to all age groups and abilities.  Personal Trainers from Pure Lifestyles were on site to demonstrate how this new range of equipment can be effectively used for fitness training, with QR codes providing video instructions for all the many and varied ways they can be used to create individual fitness regimes – almost providing your own personal fitness trainer on hand in the park!  Visitors to the show were keen to try out some of the less taxing moves in the heat of the early September sun!

Another new initiative from Wicksteed saw the introduction of The Funding Doctors from Support 4 Community Projects, who were on hand for funding consultancy for the many visitors who flocked in.  Finding funding for community and school play projects can be a nightmare and the Funding Doctors, in conjunction with Wicksteed, offer a superb service on all areas of this competitive environment. Other fun and funky play products on the stand included all the latest, unique dual axis roundabouts, lots of new characterful Springies and exciting multiplay units in the form of the challenging XS and inspiring Playtime ranges, as well as the more quirky timber-based Forest range.
